Academic Achievements

Aida graduated as the Salutatorian of her high school class with a 4.3 GPA. She was on the honor roll for four years, took advanced placement and honors courses, was President of Science Olympiad, SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions), and the Art Club. She was also the Newspaper Editor-in-Chief. She was a very well-respected member of Generation of Promise as well as ASSIST Tutoring. Her nicknames in high school were "Baby Lount" and "Aida the Great". She was the Founder/President of the Bosnian Youth Tutoring Program and the Detroit Youth for Anti-Bullying Program. She was an American Red Cross Change Changes Lives school liaison and American Cancer Society Team Captain Relay for Life. She was active in the organizations Focus: HOPE and Building with Books. Aida received a Guaranteed Transfer to the Cornell University School of Industrial Labor and Relations.

Aida logged over 10,000 community service hours from the age of 11 all the way to high school and college. As a high school student, she was dual-enrolled at a local university. She took classes at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Aida was actively involved in her high school. She took college courses early on in high school to get a head start on her college education.
